Clara’s Gifts and Coffee, named for the proprietress of the St. James Hotel for most of the 20th Century, serves Starbucks Coffee and an assortment of pastries, snacks, and Schwan's Ice Cream. Clara’s also offers various sundries in addition to books, magazines, logowear and gift items including Red Wing specialty product gift baskets, always a popular souvenir or corporate gift item. The courtyard surrounding Clara’s is located adjacent to the hotel lobby and is the home to several popular specialty shops and comfortable seating for 30-35 guests.
