Arts

The restored T. B. Sheldon Auditorium, built in 1904, is located just two blocks from the St. James Hotel and offers local and regional live entertainment year-round. The historic theater features music, theatre, dance, comedy, films, lectures and more. The Sheldon also produces its own shows starring local artists and performing arts groups, including the Sheldon Theatre Brass Band, Phoenix Theatre and Red Wing Singers.

The St. James Hotel offers a variety of local entertainment in Jimmy's Pub on Friday nights, including the talents of Colleen Raye and Rebekka Fisher.  The St. James Courtyard also features book signings throughout the year.  Check with Clara’s Gift and Coffee for dates, times and authors.

Hobgoblin & Stoney End Harps - Stoney End instruments are handcrafted in an antique restored agricultural barn. The lower level, where cows once inhabited, has been converted into a woodworking shop. The second level, or haymow, has been converted into a showroom, offices and shipping room. A third floor has been added to the barn for use as a concert and event hall. The barn is handicap accessible to all three floors by use of two bridges leading to handicap parking.
