St. James Hotel Hosts Monthly Book Signings by Regional Authors
Lowell O. Erdahl to Sign Winsome Wisdom: 366 Thoughts to Ponder and Live
 on Saturday, June 30th from 12 to 2 pm.

Red Wing, MN (June 8, 2007) The St. James Hotel is continuing its successful series of monthly book signings by regional authors throughout 2007 at Clara’s Gifts & Coffee, the courtyard area shop which serves up Starbucks coffee and sells gift items, apparel, magazines and books by local and regional authors.

Lowell O. Erdahl, Bishop Emeritus of the Saint Paul Area Synod will sign his book Winsome Wisdom: 366 Thoughts to Ponder and Live on Saturday, June 30th from 12 to 2 pm.

Winsome Wisdom contains 366 meditations which spotlight a single thought for the day, along with a short reflection and positive application for everyday life. Erdahl draws on the foundations that have shaped his own life as he shares sage advice on topics ranging from marriage and sex to money and science. This book will appeal to anyone seeking devotional reading or spiritual guidance with practical experience.

Erdahl is the Bishop Emeritus of the Saint Paul Area Synod of the ELCA. In addition to twelve years as a bishop, Erdahl served for 20 years as a parish pastor and spent five years on the faculty of Luther Seminary. He has authored several other books including Joyful Living, The Lonely House; Strength for Life-Giving Pastors, Sexual Fulfillment (co-authored with Herbert W. Chilstrom) and Be Good to Each Other: An Open Letter on Marriage (co-authored with his wife Carol Erdahl.)

The St. James book signings will continue in July with author Jacquelyn B. Fletcher signing A Career Girl’s Guide to Becoming a Stepmom on July 28th.
